The swans believe the lakes grow for them. For bird and sealife to rule over mankind. They perch on rocks and watch as our manmade lives are left in ruins.
It is natures turn to destroy what we have made.
It is natures turn to destroy us.
The swans, silent, creep slowly into our territory. Our land no longer our land but an extension of their sea. They will make our world an ocean and laugh along with the kookaburras as we struggle to maintain any last strands of normality. We will retreat further inland as fish begin swimming freely through our doorways.
Nature will tear down our homes, just as we tore down nature to build them.

i like not knowing where my life is headed. i like the way my heart never matches my brain. i like how my gut hurts in anticipation of something going wrong. i love the thunderstorms everynight. i can feel them coming before a single bolt of lightning comes into view. it reminds me of truth. i don't know why. its this weird sort of disarray that makes me think maybe everything in life really is just random.

i'm actually paying attention in school.
and doing what we're asked to outside of it.
liking someone isn't scaring me so much,
but theres something weird about that.
i went to school everyday this week
and i haven't cancelled on a solid plan in atleast a month.
